Operates in Any Environment. The Bestop Powerboard NX Automatic Running Boards are weatherproof and have been tested to work in any environment via climate and salt spray tests. Additionally, the automatic running boards have coated fasteners that are corrosion resistant for a longer life and operate using Wi-Fi and a wireless controller. This product is sold as an individual kit by the manufacturer.
Quality Design. The automatic running boards have been designed using high quality die-cast aluminum material including a LED light kit, a wiring harness, and a sealed motor. The kit has a 6.25 inch stepping surface, drops down 6 inches and comes out 2 inches, and has an extension arm with an additional 2 inch drop. This product has a 600 pound capacity per side and comes in a black color.
Wi-Fi and Wireless Contoller.One of the major drawing points of these running boards is the wireless controller and Wi-Fi modules. The modules connect to the door jambs and sense when the doors open and close. From there, the modules speak to a wireless connector, which uses programmed logic to work the boards.
