Description
Multi-Function Fuel Sump. The Beans Diesel Performance Multi-Function Fuel Tank Sump enhances fuel delivery reliability for diesel and gasoline vehicles, especially when installing aftermarket fuel lift systems. It improves fuel pickup from the bottom of the tank, ensuring consistent fuel supply even at low levels and eliminating common quarter tank fuel starvation issues. This product is ideal for high horsepower applications requiring high flow fuel systems.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 6061 billet aluminum, the sump has a rugged one-piece machined design for long-lasting performance. The unit includes stainless steel hardware, high-flow anodized aluminum fittings, and uses an O-ring seal system for leak prevention. Its finish is built to withstand harsh environments, providing a clean and robust appearance suited for heavy-duty use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in about five minutes by drilling a single 3-inch hole in a suitable tank location without the need to drop the tank. A hole saw is included for plastic tanks, and the design requires minimal tools while reducing potential leak points compared to multi-bolt designs.
Application. This sump fits universally on fuel tanks with an available 4-inch diameter flat mounting area and is compatible with both metal and plastic tanks used in gas or diesel applications. Some adaptation may be required depending on tank material and specific aftermarket lift pump setups.
