Featuring an aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan that boosts oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, the transmission includes high energy frictions, revised oil circuits, and upgraded valves that ensure full line pressure to the clutches. The torque converter features torque-multiplying cast aluminum stators, a stamp-forged steel front cover, and furnace-brazed fins to improve cooling and efficiency.
