Designed as a direct replacement, it supports increased power and torque demands while ensuring reliable operation under heavy use. This transmission is ideal for demanding towing and hauling applications.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The transmission features a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep oil pan that increases fluid capacity by 3.5 quarts for improved cooling and longer service life. Precision components, including high-energy friction materials and revised oil circuits, optimize performance. The design incorporates increased clutch counts and upgraded valves to ensure consistent line pressure, all backed by thorough dyno testing for reliability.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is moderately challenging, requiring approximately 9 hours of labor and professional mechanical skills. No drilling or fabrication is necessary. For warranty compliance, the BD torque converter must be installed concurrently.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. This transmission includes a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty. Race abuse is excluded from coverage.
