      Description

      Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The BD Power Steering Upgrade Kit enhances the strength and durability of the steering system on Chevrolet and GM heavy-duty trucks. It addresses issues such as loose steering and premature component wear caused by heavy loads, lift kits, and larger tires, improving vehicle handling and reliability under demanding conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. The kit includes forged steel components, such as an I-beam centerlink that is 30% stronger than OEM, and thicker tie rods featuring larger ball joints with sintered bearings for increased durability. Polyurethane bushings provide articulation while resisting wear, and all greaseable parts ensure smooth, long-lasting operation. The components are finished in a durable black coating built to withstand harsh environments.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and takes approximately 3 hours. No drilling or permanent modifications are necessary, as the kit retains factory steering geometry and is fully compatible with OEM replacement parts.
