The BD Power Allison Transmission and Converter Package with Stage 4 Stock Input Shaft and Proforce 3D Converter, including a $2100 core charge, is a comprehensive drivetrain upgrade designed to increase durability and handle high torque demands. This package includes a dyno-tested transmission and torque converter matched for superior performance, ideal for towing, street use, or track applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Built with a BD aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan to add 3.5 quarts of increased oil capacity, the transmission features high energy friction materials and increased steel mass for enhanced heat dissipation. The torque converter uses a stamp forged one-piece cover designed to prevent warpage, incorporates HD springs, self-centering trapezoid teeth for reduced wear and chatter, and advanced internal components for improved durability and efficiency.

      Installation. Installation requires approximately nine hours and involves no significant modifications such as drilling, making it suitable for experienced automotive technicians or enthusiasts familiar with transmission work.

      Warranty. This package carries a 36-month/150,000-mile warranty on parts and a 12-month/24,000-mile warranty on labor, with exclusions for race abuse.
