      High Performance Transmission. The BD Power Allison 1000 Transmission with an $1800 Core Charge included is engineered to upgrade the durability and reliability of your vehicle’s drivetrain. It is designed to handle greater power output than the factory unit, making it ideal for demanding applications requiring a robust and efficient transmission system.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a heavy-duty aluminum deep pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, helping to maintain optimal operating temperatures. It incorporates high energy friction materials, revised oil circuits for improved fluid flow, and advanced valve designs including a new converter lock-up valve and A & B trim valves to ensure enhanced clutch pressure and durability. The finish is functional and rugged, suitable for heavy-use conditions.

      Installation. Installing this transmission requires moderate mechanical skills and approximately 7 hours of work. No drilling is necessary. For warranty coverage, the BD torque converter must be installed simultaneously.

      Warranty. Includes a 36-month / 150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month / 24,000-mile labor warranty.
