      Description

      Thermal Efficiency for Turbocharged Setups. The BD Power T4 Turbo Blanket is engineered to improve turbocharger efficiency and extend the life of surrounding engine components. By insulating the turbine housing, it reduces under-hood temperatures, boosts air density, and improves spool response—translating to greater performance and reliability in high-demand applications.

      Construction and Appearance. This turbo blanket is designed to fit a range of turbo models including Borg Warner T3 S300 Wastegated, T4 S300/S400, T6 S400/S500, as well as most similarly sized Garrett and Holset units. Made with high-temperature-resistant materials, it features built-in retaining clips, stainless steel springs for secure installation, and a stylized finish with BD's custom embroidery. The rugged design protects hoses, wiring, and nearby engine components from prolonged heat exposure.

      Installation. Installation is quick and easy using the included clips and springs. The blanket wraps directly over the turbo's turbine housing without the need for tools or modifications in most applications.
