The Banks Power 5-Inch Monster DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Chrome SideKick Tip; Side Exit enhances exhaust flow to increase horsepower and improve engine efficiency. Designed to reduce backpressure significantly after the diesel particulate filter (DPF), it also lowers exhaust exit temperature during regeneration to protect trailers and nearby components.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 409 stainless steel tubing with a constant 5-inch diameter for maximum flow, the exhaust system features a mandrel-bent design for smooth gas movement. The standout 6.5" x 7.5" obround slash-cut SideKick exhaust tip is chrome-plated stainless steel that resists heat discoloration, providing both durability and a polished aesthetic.

      Installation. Installation is moderately easy, with an average time of 1.5 hours and no drilling required. The system is designed to fit directly to the vehicle’s exhaust components with included hangers for secure mounting.
