Description
Enhanced Intake Performance. The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System with integrated Fuel Line and Heater System Upgrade in Red is engineered to significantly improve throttle response and fuel economy by eliminating airflow restrictions in the intake. It replaces the factory grid heater—known to cause engine damage when it fails—with a high-flow intake plate that prevents such failures while maintaining OEM-level cold start performance through an integrated coil heater. This upgrade enhances engine efficiency and reliability in diesel-powered RAM trucks.
Construction and Appearance. Built with a durable, precision-machined high-flow cast intake plate optimized for airflow and thickness, the system includes a custom proprietary fuel line to maximize unrestricted airflow. A vertically integrated high-flow coil heater maintains cold start functionality without limiting air intake. The entire assembly features a bold red powder coat finish, providing corrosion resistance and improving engine bay aesthetics.
Installation. Installation generally takes about six hours and requires no drilling or permanent modifications. The system is designed to fit existing factory mounting points for a direct, straightforward replacement of the stock intake elbow with the Monster-Ram unit.
Warranty. This product is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring protection against defects and long-term reliability.
Application. The intake and heater upgrade is compatible with 2019 through 2024 RAM 3500 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Cummins engine. It is not compatible with chassis cab configurations. Full emissions compliance is retained for use in all 50 states.
