Description
Performance Upgrade. The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake System with Fuel Line and Heater System Upgrade; Red is designed to improve throttle response and fuel economy by replacing the restrictive and failure-prone factory grid heater with a high-flow intake plate and coil heater. This upgrade eliminates airflow restrictions, raising boost pressure without increasing turbine drive pressure, ensuring better engine response and durability.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a high-flow cast intake plate precisely machined for optimum thickness and matched CNC porting with an oversized 3-3/8 inch inlet. It includes a proprietary fuel line engineered to maximize airflow by avoiding obstruction. The coil heater is mounted vertically inside the intake for efficient heating without hindering airflow. The intake is available in red, black, or natural finishes, accommodating stock mounting points for a clean, OEM-like installation.
Installation. Installation is moderately challenging and typically requires around six hours to complete. No special drilling is necessary as the system is designed to fit stock mounting locations and hardware.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit the 13-18 6.7L RAM 3500 diesel models. This intake does not fit chassis cab versions of the RAM 3500. It retains all emissions equipment to maintain 50-state compliance.
