Description
Full Traction on Demand. The ARB Dana 44 Rear Axle Air Locker delivers selectable full locking capability at the flick of a switch, sending equal torque to both rear wheels for maximum traction in mud, snow, or rocky trails. When unlocked, the differential operates normally for smooth on-road handling and tire wear.
Rugged, Reliable Construction. Built around a Dana 44 carrier, the ARB Air Locker uses precision-machined clutch packs and a sealed pneumatic actuator to engage the locker with minimal leak risk. The black e-coat finish protects internal gears and casting from corrosion, ensuring long service life in harsh environments.
Installation. This product installs by removing the Dana 44 carrier, transferring ring and pinion gear sets as needed for 3.73 or lower ratios, installing the ARB locker assembly with supplied shims, and plumbÂing the air line to a helmet-mounted or dash-mounted control switch—professional installation is recommended for gear setup.
Application. This ARB Dana 44 Rear Axle Air Locker Differential fits 1994–2001 RAM 1500 models equipped with Dana 44 rear axles and 3.73 or lower ring gear ratios.
