Power-Retractable Steps. The Amp Research PowerStep Xtreme Running Boards provide automated step access by deploying as vehicle doors open and retracting after they close. These running boards improve accessibility for trucks with higher ground clearance, while folding away when not in use to preserve ground clearance and maintain vehicle aesthetics.

Construction and Appearance. Made from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, these running boards are anodized and coated with a military-grade PTFE finish for enhanced durability in harsh conditions. The boards feature a textured black powder coat with a wide 6-inch textured, slip-resistant step surface for secure footing. Integrated LED lights enhance safety and visibility in low-light environments.

Installation. Installation requires drilling and wiring, including connecting to the vehicle's OBD-II port on newer models for seamless operation. Due to the precise fitment and technical nature of the product, professional installation is highly recommended to ensure proper functionality and longevity.

Warranty. These running boards include a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.

Application. Designed specifically to fit 2013-2017 Ram 3500 Regular Cab and Crew Cab models. They do not fit Mega Cab models with air ride suspension or chassis cab configurations.
