      Description

      Automatic Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards enhance vehicle access by automatically deploying when the door opens and retracting after a delay when the door closes. These running boards are an excellent solution for lifted trucks or vehicles with higher ground clearance, improving ease of entry and exit for all passengers.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum for durability and light weight, the boards are anodized and finished with a military-grade PTFE coating to resist corrosion and wear. The wide, textured 6-inch step surface provides slip-resistant footing, while integrated LED lighting illuminates the steps for added safety in low-light conditions.

      Installation. The running boards bolt to the vehicle’s rocker panels using existing holes, although drilling is required during installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and operation.
