AMP Research’s PowerStep™ XL Running Boards provide an additional 3-inch lower stepping surface over the original PowerStep™ to make it easier and safer than ever to get into your lifted RAM 3500. Powered by electric motors, they automatically extend when your doors are open and hide safely out of sight up into 6063 marine-grade aluminum rocker rails when the doors are closed. The steps are anodized and PTFE-coated for maximum corrosion and wear resistance. Integrated LED lights make them easier to find in the dark, too.
Heavy-Duty Aluminum Alloy Construction. PowerStep™ XL Running Boards are made with aircraft-quality die-cast aluminum materials for unparalleled strength and durability even in the toughest conditions and can support up to 600 pounds. AMP Research guarantees that they can withstand all manner of rugged conditions, from snow, ice, dust, mud, and dirt.
Bolt-On Installation. While these PowerStep Running Boards won’t require any drilling or invasive modifications on your RAM, the installation will still require some mechanical expertise. As such, it’s highly recommended that you seek the help of a professional mechanic to achieve the best results.
