Product Overview. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards 2-Inch Extension Arm Kit lowers existing running boards by 2 inches to provide easier vehicle entry and exit. Designed to enhance compatibility with lifted trucks, it improves step access and user convenience.
Construction and Appearance. This extension arm kit is made from durable 6063 marine grade aluminum and finished with a textured black powder coat for enhanced corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance that complements your vehicle’s exterior.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requires no drilling or special tools, and typically takes about 20 minutes. The kit attaches securely to existing PowerStep running boards.
Warranty. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under proper installation and use.
Fitment and Application. This kit is custom made to fit Amp Research PowerStep running boards and is not compatible with OEM PowerSteps. It fits multiple vehicle models equipped with the PowerStep system, but specific vehicle applications should be verified for compatibility before purchase.
