Stock air boxes pale in comparison to this cold air intake system. It's designed to increase horsepower and torque. Your RAM's fuel economy won't suffer as a result, either. Thanks to computer engineering, this system is built to manage air flow more efficiently. It's also dyno-tuned to maintain an optimal mix of air and fuel.
No Tune Required. This AIRAID MXP Series Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your RAM without the need of reprogramming your trucks computer. By utilizing state of the art computer-aided designs, this AIRAID Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Superior Filtration. This MXP Series Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze “performance” filters just can’t capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. Best of all Premium Filters are washable and re-usable saving you money.
Custom Designed. The MXP Series air box computer-engineered design addresses the shortcomings of stock boxes. Computer-designed to perform better than your RAM's stock air box. The roto-molded, one-piece design with its built-in velocity stack provides improved air flow. The system includes a cross-linked, high-density polyethylene intake tube that also provides optimal air flow.
