Description
Transmission Cooling Efficiency. The AFE BladeRunner Transmission Oil Cooler Kit reduces transmission oil temperatures to prevent transmission wear, extending the life and performance of the transmission fluid. Installed inline with the vehicle’s factory transmission system, it provides supplemental cooling to maintain optimal transmission operation under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable brazed 25-row all-aluminum stacked plate design, this cooler delivers superior heat dissipation and lower pressure drop compared to traditional tube-fin coolers. The black finish and laser-etched logo on the front are complemented by black-anodized billet aluminum AN fittings for a sleek, high-quality look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with direct-fit mounting brackets and stainless steel hardware, requiring no cutting or modification of factory components. The kit includes a durable 3/8” oil hose and leak-proof connections to ensure a secure and reliable fit.
Application. This cooler kit fits the 2007-2013 6.0L Sierra 3500 HD equipped with automatic transmissions and is not compatible with hybrid models.
