Description
High-Performance Intercooler. The AFE Bladerunner Intercooler enhances engine efficiency by increasing airflow and improving heat dissipation. It is designed to reduce intake air temperatures, resulting in boosted horsepower, torque, and lowered exhaust gas temperatures, making it an essential upgrade for turbocharged diesel vehicles.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This intercooler features a 2-5/8 inch bar and plate core with end tanks made from 3/16 inch TIG-welded aluminum plates. The inlet and outlet are crafted from billet aluminum for superior strength and durability. It is finished with a high-temperature wrinkle-black powder coat on the tubes to insulate against engine heat and resist corrosion, complemented by an aluminum laser-cut logo on the intercooler tubes.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward using factory mounting locations and factory-style quick connect fittings. No drilling is required, and the kit includes heavy-duty 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone couplings and stainless steel T-bolt clamps to ensure a secure, hassle-free fit.
