Description
Impressive Power Gains. Equipping your truck with this Black AFE Rapid Induction Cold Air Intake with Pro DRY S Filter will provide it with impressive power gains. With its dyno-tuned intake tube and air filter, your engine will be able to receive the coolest and cleanest air available. This then improves your engine’s combustion process, making your truck gain more horsepower and torque.
Tuning Is Not Required. This cold air intake doesn’t require any tuning after installation. Once mounted to your vehicle, it is ready for use. However, if you want to get the most out of your new intake system, you may perform an optional retune.
Pro Dry S Air Filter. For excellent filtration performance, this cold air intake is equipped with a Pro Dry S air filter. This conical air filter measures 7 inches tall and comes with 3 layers of oil-free synthetic media. If it is already dirty or clogged, you can simply recharge it using AFE’s power cleaner.
High-Quality Construction. To withstand your underhood’s harsh environmental condition, this cold air intake is built with an intake tube that’s made of crosslinked polyethylene. It is also equipped with an 18-gauge steel heat shield to protect it from excessive heat. These components are also completed with a black powder coat finish to increase their resistance against corrosion.
Hassle-Free Installation. This cold air intake is easy to install since it’s designed to replace your vehicle’s factory upper intake box. Plus, for added convenience, this kit includes all the hardware you need.
