Description
Highly-Reliable Cold Air Intake System. When you need increased airflow and reduced temperature in the engine, this AFE Momentum HD Pro 5R Cold Air Intake is a great solution. It is designed to outflow factory intake by as much as 23% and offer performance gains of up to +10 horsepower and +17 lbs. torque. This inexpensive modification may not give off as much power as other modifications but they will give unrestricted breathing to your engine.
5-Layer Performance Air Filter. This Cold Air Intake assembly comes with the Pro 5R air filter that is made of 5 layers of progressively finer medical-grade cotton gauze. This filter is designed to provide maximum airflow and enable the engine to make the most horsepower and torque. It features 98.6% efficiency rating.
High-Quality Construction. To ensure the coolest air intake charge, this Momentum HD Cold Air Intake features a unique one-piece housing and auxiliary scoop. There is a large, built-in window that allows hassle-free filter inspection without the need for disassembly. The thin-walled aluminum tube is designed with a large cross-section to achieve the maximum volumetric flow rate into the turbo adaptor. Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and urethane insert are included for strength and durability.
Bolt-On Installation. This Cold Air Intake system features a direct-fit design and offers hassle-free bolt-on installation. The process is very straightforward and will not require any modifications. With the help of a detailed manual, you can get this installation done in about an hour or less.
2-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. This Momentum HD Cold Air Intake comes with a 2-year limited warranty that covers defects due to workmanship and material. The warranty coverage starts from the date of purchase. Damage due to improper installation, abuse, unauthorized repair, or alteration are not covered.
Application. The AFE Momentum HD Pro 5R Cold Air Intake is designed to fit 2014-2018 RAM 1500 models with 3.0L EcoDiesel engines.
Application Note. This Cold Air Intake system is not CARB-certified at this time. Therefore, it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
