Description
Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Synergy Manufacturing Heavy Duty Steering Kit is designed to replace weak factory steering components on Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with durable, stronger parts. It is engineered to provide tighter, more precise steering response for daily driving, towing, or off-road use, enhancing vehicle control and driver confidence under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features heavy gauge USA-made DOM steel tubing, with the tie rod constructed from 1.75" x .188" heat treated 4130 chromoly and the drag link from 1.5" x .250" DOM steel. The components are finished with a two-stage abrasion resistant powder coat for long-lasting corrosion protection and a professional appearance. Tie rod ends are metal-on-metal designs with 4140 steel shanks and 1018 steel bearing housings, capped with heavy duty nitrile-butadiene rubber boots and include grease fittings for easy maintenance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward using 100% bolt-on components requiring only basic hand tools. No drilling or frame modifications are necessary, making this kit accessible to both professional installers and experienced enthusiasts.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2013 through 2018 4WD Ram 3500 trucks using crossover steering configuration, excluding early 2013 models that feature a T-style steering system.
