Construction and Appearance. Forged from high-tensile chromoly steel and precision ground to extremely tight tolerances, this camshaft undergoes carburizing and quenching to achieve a surface hardness exceeding 60 HRC, ensuring long-lasting durability. It features a slotted gear alignment pin for superior longevity and reliability.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is designed as a direct factory camshaft replacement, requiring no drilling or extensive modifications for an efficient upgrade.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2001 to 2016 6.6L Duramax engines across multiple GM models including Silverado, Sierra, Express, and Savana trucks, this camshaft delivers optimal performance improvements for a wide range of vehicle configurations.
