This low-temperature thermostat is designed to allow coolant flow at 189/196 degrees, which is much lower than the 194/201 degrees needed to open up your truck’s factory counterpart. By doing so, your engine’s temperature is better managed to reduce the likelihood of heat damage when engaging in more intense driving.
Sturdy Build Quality. This thermostat is designed and constructed following OE specifications to ensure a factory fit when installed. Specifically, its frame is crafted from high-grade stainless steel, offering exceptional durability. Meanwhile, its valve assembly is made from high-quality copper alloy, guaranteeing corrosion resistance as well as proper heat conduction.
