Description
Rear Shock Absorber Upgrade. The BDS NX2 Rear Shock Absorber is engineered to improve suspension performance for lifted trucks and SUVs. Its advanced twin-tube nitrogen-charged design with velocity-sensitive valving provides adaptive dampening suitable for both on- and off-road conditions, helping maintain vehicle control and ride quality after lift kit installations.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a 2-inch diameter body with a large 1-3/8-inch fluon-banded piston and self-lubricating seals, this shock boasts a 14mm hardened chrome piston shaft for increased resistance to rock chips and corrosion. It is finished in durable metallic silver paint and accented with NX2 decals to combine functionality with style.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, typically taking about one hour. The shock includes polyurethane bushings and metal sleeves for direct replacement with existing components, requiring no special modifications.
