      Description

The BD Power Killer Grid Heater Upgrade Kit addresses a critical electrical connection flaw in the 6.7L Cummins engine's intake grid heater that can cause catastrophic engine damage. It eliminates the unreliable bolts and nuts inside the intake, maintaining the original heater's function while preventing arcing and failure under high current loads.

      Construction and Appearance. This kit includes durable replacement hardware and gaskets designed for long-lasting service, paired with precision-engineered self-locking threads built into the lower busbar to secure the electrical connection without loosening. The components are fully emissions compliant and engineered for reliable performance in demanding conditions.

      Installation. Installation takes approximately three hours and may require minor modification for 2007-2012 models, such as removing an aluminum tab on the grid heater using a Dremel or hacksaw. The process is straightforward but requires moderate mechanical skill.

      Warranty. The kit includes a 12-month parts warranty.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2007-2024 Dodge/Ram 6.7L Cummins 2500/3500 pickup trucks and 3500/4500/5500 cab & chassis models, ensuring compatibility while maintaining full stock heater performance.
