Description
Power-Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards provide convenient, automatic stepping assistance, deploying when vehicle doors open and retracting when closed. These running boards enhance accessibility for lifted trucks and add a stylish, functional upgrade that improves passenger entry and exit safety.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, these running boards are anodized and coated with a military-grade PTFE finish for durability and resistance to surface wear. The 6-inch wide steps offer a textured, slip-resistant surface and integrate LED lighting for enhanced visibility in low light conditions.
Installation. Installation involves a straightforward bolt-on design using existing vehicle rocker panel holes with detailed, vehicle-specific instructions included. Professional installation is recommended due to the complexity and electrical connections involved, but drilling is generally not required.
Warranty. These running boards come with a comprehensive five-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship when installed according to instructions.
Application. Designed to fit the 07-14 6.0L Sierra 2500 HD Crew Cab, including all necessary mount kits and hardware for a precise installation and performance fit.
