The 2014-2017 mufflers sold on AmericanTrucks do anything but muffle the sound of your pickup’s exhaust – in fact, they shape, tune, and amplify it into a rumbling growl that quickly escalates into a roar when you stamp on the gas. Built very ruggedly out of T-304 stainless steel, an aerospace grade that’s extremely unlikely to rust or corrode even in wet, harsh conditions, these mufflers feature fully welded outer shells and an interior uncluttered by baffles or wadding. They won’t produce a droning note in the cab, either, giving relief to your ear over older upgrades. Practically speaking, you can choose from a number of different single inlet, single outlet designs – center/center, offset/offset, center/offset, etc. – or single inlet, double outlet designs – such as center/dual and offset/dual. This makes them ready to hook up to just about any exhaust system likely to be found on your Silverado, even an aftermarket or customized one.
