      Description

      Expandable Bike Carrying Capacity. The RockyMounts SplitRail Bike Rack Add-On increases the capacity of your existing SplitRail or SplitRail LS to hold three or four bikes by adding one or two additional trays. This extension provides a practical solution for transporting multiple bicycles without the need to purchase an entirely new rack system.

      Construction and Performance. Built with durable materials to withstand outdoor conditions, the add-on features a sturdy design weighing 16 lbs (27 lbs with shipping packaging). It securely holds the bike by the front wheel without contacting the frame, accommodating tires up to 3.0 inches wide and wheel diameters ranging from 20 to 29 inches. Additionally, the tray is adjustable up to 4 inches side-to-side to minimize bike interference.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling, as the add-on integrates seamlessly with the existing SplitRail rack system, allowing easy addition or removal when needed.

      Application. Designed exclusively for use with the 2-inch SplitRail and SplitRail LS bike racks, the add-on is not compatible with bicycles equipped with fenders. It reduces the maximum weight capacity per tray from 60 to 45 lbs to safely accommodate additional bikes.
