Kooks Headers & Exhaust had its origins with the DIY headers built by George “Papa” Kooks for his own racer, using a blowtorch, back in 1962 – and today offers sophisticated 1999-2017 exhaust components, including plenty that will fit your GMC Sierra. These components are built so ruggedly that some of them can be used with 3,000 horsepower applications without suffering failure. They include 1999-2013 and 2014-2017 cat-back exhaust systems featuring stainless steel construction for long-term durability and, in some cases, stylish black slash cut exhaust tips. Directly improving scavenging and bleeding off backpressure from the engine, Kooks’ 1999-2017 headers are also stainless steel and give your machine a good jolt of extra horsepower and torque. To tie it all together, the company also offers high-flow 1999-2013 mid pipes, typically Y-pipes, to link the headers and exhaust system. These 2014-2017 mid pipes come in both off-road and catted configurations so you can choose between street legality and maximum power.
