Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 16-gauge aluminized steel with a durable painted finish, the muffler features a 3.5-inch diameter steel shell. Inside, a spiral louver baffle design directs sound waves into a temperature-resistant fibermat packing, which maximizes exhaust velocity while minimizing backpressure.
