Description

The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with a 3-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlet delivers a deep, aggressive sound paired with enhanced performance for high horsepower applications. Designed for street and strip use, it provides an excellent balance between powerful exhaust tone and efficient flow to boost vehicle output.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for long-lasting durability. It features a high-temperature black paint finish for corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance that complements muscle cars, street rods, and trucks.
Installation. The muffler installs with slip-fit connections compatible with both clamp-on and weld-on methods. Installation typically requires new hangers and some adaptation, but no specialized drilling is generally necessary.
