Tough All-Aluminum Construction. Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards various components are made from tough, corrosion-resistant aluminum, and finished in a chip resistant black powder coat. This gives the unit added protection, as well as a slip-resistant surface. The 4 linkages are constructed from super-strong die-cast aluminum, making the Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Board capable of carrying loads of up to 600 lbs. per side.
Designed with Safety in Mind. An important element of each Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Board is its anti-pinch safety feature, which senses pressure on the running board and stops it from retracting when the door is closed to prevent injury. Additionally, LED lights are included in the set. Meant to be installed into the linkages, they illuminate the running board at night for safer entry and exit. Lastly, all the electronic components of the Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Board are completely weather-proof for reliable operation anytime.
Minor Modifications Needed. Installing the Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Board requires a good knowledge of electronics, as most of the work is centered on wiring up the unit.
