ZEX Igniter Core Technology. ZEX Power Tune spark plugs feature their patented "Igniter Core Technology," which features ground straps made with a copper core wrapped in a durable nickel shell. Copper conducts heat and electricity over 4x better than nickel, but it isn't as durable. With this hybrid design, you get the advantage of copper's superior electrical and thermal properties combined with nickel's durability for an unbeatable combination.

Clean, Reliable Spark. Traditional spark plugs stick to a designated heat range to prevent fouling - which doesn't always work, as you know, if you've pulled old fouled plugs. ZEX Power Tune plugs run in that same heat range so they're compatible with your engine, but they feature a three side-gapped group strap design for super-cleaning the electrode. What this means is that your plugs stay clean for more reliable spark and maximum ignition power.

Designed for Naturally Aspirated Trucks. The ZEX Power Tune spark plugs are specifically designed to work on nitrous or forced-induction engines. Also, these plugs have a heat range of 7 and are comparable to NGK R5724-8 spark plugs which have a heat range of 8. They're compatible with the following engines/trucks: F150 Lightning - 93-95 5.8L (supercharged), F150 Lightning - 99-04 5.4L (supercharged), 97-04 4.6L, 97-03 5.4L.
