How does the TREKMASTER deliver this balance of performance and comfort? The Tokico TREKMASTER Series combines TOKICO'S multi-stage variable-aperture piston and sandwich valve system, with a new base valve design that provides a four-stage dual blow-off compression cycle. In addition to the very sophisticated damping system, TREKMASTER shocks feature a low mechanical drag rod guide and piston seal design. The result is up to 65 percent less mechanical drag compared to other shocks. Smooth operation and long life are the benefits of this combination of technology.

As a result, the TREKMASTER uses enough compression damping to keep the tires on the road, but not so much that traction and ride quality suffer.
