Patented V-Groove Tip. The only spark plug on the market today with a v-groove center electrode, the unique grooved tip design of the NGK V-Power plugs creates a stronger spark and reduces misfires. With a groove cut in the center electrode, parallel to the ground electrode, the spark moves to the edge and is then exposed to more of the combustible air/fuel mixture inside the cylinder. This also reduces the "quenching" effect that occurs under high cylinder pressures, which can cause misfires in high-performance, forced-induction, or nitrous-injected applications. Tested, approved, and recommended by OE manufacturers and racers, this is their plug of choice.
