| Moroso's race and dyno-proven oil pans add capacity and cool your oil better to deliver more power under the most demanding conditions. |
More Power. Over 30 years ago, Moroso pioneered the deep sump oil pan and discovered that removing oil from your engine's crank quickly and efficiently, while directing it towards the oil pump, makes more power than traditional oil pan designs. The rest is racing history - and now, you can enjoy the performance benefits of their innovative design for your 2WD 97-03 F150 or 99-03 SVT Lighting.
Improves Capacity, Flow. The stock oil pan capacity is only 6 quarts*, but the Moroso pan boosts it to an impressive 8 quarts. Better still, that additional oil is channeled down towards a kicked-out, deepened, lengthened sump area that helps cool your oil better and improves oil uptake while also keeping your crankshaft from "sloshing" in oil. And the baffling system used in this pan confines the oil flow to the pickup area during hard acceleration, cornering, and braking to help prevent oil starvation even during the most demanding conditions.
Premium Quality. This race-quality product by Moroso features fully fabricated all-aluminum construction - making it exceptionally strong and durable while reducing weight. Finished with a clear zinc coating and featuring Moroso's logo, this item is both durable and an attractive addition to your engine. And Moroso even includes a magnetic drain plug for convenience when changing your oil. To prevent any annoying leaks, this pan features a one piece CNC machined billet rail surface for a flat, even, leak-free seal.
Easy Installation. It's easy to upgrade your stock pan to this race proven unit. Since the Moroso aluminum oil pan reuses your stock oil pump and pickup, no additional parts are needed. And installation is straightforward - in fact, you can install this unit without removing your transmission.**
